St George’s Mayor To Hold Town Hall Meeting

The Mayor of St. George, Quinell Francis, will be hosting a public Town Hall meeting on Thursday, June 16 at 6.30pm at the Penno’s Wharf Terminal Building.

The Town Hall meeting will involve the Minister of Tourism, Transport and Municipalities, the Minster of Public Works, and the Minister of National Security; with Ministers Fahy, Cannonier and Baron set to  provide information and updates on the various initiatives within their respective Ministries.

Mayor Francis said, “This is the perfect opportunity for our constituents to hear firsthand what is in store for our Town and its impact for the future.

“As always, I encourage all businesses and residents of St. George’s to come out and participate in the Town Hall meeting.”

“I want all of our constituents to be well informed and the Ministers have graciously agreed to be a part of our quarterly Town Hall meeting. Residents should take full advantage of the opportunity to be heard.

“The public Town Hall meetings are a continuation of our efforts to keep our constituents informed and is an integral part of our communication strategy.

“The agenda includes a welcome by the Mayor; overview of Corporation initiatives- The Mayor; Public Safety & Security: Minister Baron- Minister of National Security; Swing Bridge Update: Minister Cannonier- Minister of Public Works; Ministry Overview: Minister Fahy- Minister of Tourism, Transport & Municipalities; Open Forum; and a closing.
