Transport & Tourism Ministry Moving From TCD

June 27, 2016

“The Ministry of Tourism, Transport and Municipalities will effect a temporary move from its Transport Control Department offices on North Street into the middle of the city tomorrow,” the Ministry said this evening.

“The Ministry should be open for business Wednesday on the second floor at 61-63 Victoria Street in Hamilton. The substantial space at TCD is surplus to Ministry requirements.

“The move is a continued effort to increase efficiencies of the Ministry headquarters, and frees up much needed space for the Transport Control Department.

“Given the roles and responsibilities of Ministry officials, there is a necessity for regular meetings with entities such as the Gaming Commission, the Bermuda Tourism Authority, municipalities and the aviation and shipping agencies. Therefore a more central location is useful.

“Meanwhile, the Ministry has assumed responsibilities for lottery and raffle permits under The Lotteries Act 1944. Applications for permits can be delivered to the Ministry’s new office on Victoria Street.”

The only place Fahy puts his foot is in his mouth and that’s why he’s not in the same ministry he was in. Common sense is not too common when it comes to this bye. He thinks he’s JT and he’s representing Canada.

Do they actually believe that the public believes this drivel?

  5. Kinnie says:

R u kidding me. How much will that cost the tax payer. It just kills him to work out of North hamilton. How about he resign. Effectively immediately. I can’t wait for the next election. Bring it on quickly pretty pls with a cherry on the top.

    • You all sound so stupid, they are not resigning until there is a MASSIVE protest which will not happen because Bermudians are too stupid and scared to do so and they have at least 18 months to minipulate the economy to their advantage.
Do ya thing U.B.P., the ball is in ya court and ya allowed to do so.

  6. Grizz says:

Might as well make Fahy Premier cause he is definitely running s***! Then he gives half ass reasons/Press Statements to the people of Bermuda just to pacify us; but please note his tone when he speaks, HE REALLY DOESNT CARE WHAT YOU THINK OR HOW YOU FEEL! My heart breaks for Bermuda; they voted for the OBA thinking it could save Bermuda……SMH, wonder what they are thinking now!

If the PLP ever get back in your heart is going to shatter.

      • The Original Truth™ says:

It really doesn’t matter either way. Both have no clue how to run Bermuda.

I’d rather have Fidel Castro running things. At least he’s for his people not like these two demagogue run parties we have.

      • I,ll put my money on P.L.P., even though they let Black people down.

  7. really says:

PLEASE! How much did the tourism office in Washington Cost that nobody used??? Man people have selective memory!

  8. RebeLutionary says:

Being in the back a tahn was just a little too much for this elitist. Probably the most he’s ever spent there in his entire life. Didn’t he say he wanted to relate to the people after the protests? Oh well.
