Botanical Society To Award $5000 Scholarship
The Bermuda Botanical Society has announced that it is awarding a $5,000 scholarship in honour of Edward Manuel, former Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Parks, with the winner to be “announced shortly.”
A spokesperson said, “Mr. Manuel, who died last month, was a devoted member of the society, and a fount of horticultural knowledge. The Bermuda Botanical Society scholarships are awarded to students in the fields of horticulture or agriculture.
“The winner of the Edward Manuel Scholarship will be announced shortly.”
