Court: Man Charged With Machete, Threatening
Appearing in Magistrates Court this week, a 38-year-old man was charged with possessing a machete, obstructing police and uttering threatening words to police.
Mr Lorin Baxter elected to be tried in Supreme Court and was not therefore required to enter a plea in the Plea Court session.
Baxter was charged with being in a public place, in Hamilton, in July 2016 and possessing a machete; obstructing police; and uttering threatening words.
Magistrate Archie Warner granted him $2,000 bail with one surety and required him to reappear for mention and appear at theAugust Supreme Court Arraignments.
