Section of Rosemont Ave Closed: Cable Repair
BELCO is advising motorists that the Northern section of Rosemont Avenue between the junction of Richmond Road and Serpentine Road has been closed to public access in order to facilitate emergency repairs on its 22kV Transmission cable.
A spokesperson said, “Crews will be working into the night to effect repair. Weather depending, it is anticipated that the road will be opened for single lane traffic in the morning for the remainder of the day [July 21].
“Traffic Controls are in place. With the exception of residential access, motorists must use alternative routes.
“BELCO thanks motorists for their patience and apologizes for any inconvenience while this emergency repair work is carried out. Updates will be provide via local media and on BELCO’s Facebook page and through Twitter.”
