July 2016 Klout Social Media Rankings

Cup Match is upon us and people’s social media accounts will be buzzing with how Red and Blue or Blue and Blue will be victorious this year. .
Last month saw scores hit some highs as the debate over same sex marriage reached a heightened pitch amongst both camps. SSM advocate Tony Brannon is still campaigning and his score bumped up a few more points to reach a score of 69, good enough to be 15th overall in Bermuda along with Carla Zuill.
The top 10 remained the same with Bermemes climbing from eighth to fifth while Shari-Lynn Pringle climbing one spot to join them in the top five. The rest of the top five are Fox news and WWE commentator John Layfield, the Bermuda Tourism Authority and singers Heather Nova and Collie Buddz.
Alexander Green, of the Green family which owns the Hamilton Princess reached his highest score ever at 67 to join Kristin White, Glenn Jones and Hannah Collins.
Carla John and Courtney Bush made their list debuts with scores of 62 and 63 respectively.
The Fairmont Southampton’s score had the biggest increase as they picked up seven points to reach 63 to tie Grotto Bay Beach Resort, among others.
Also rejoining the list are: Susan Thomas [62], Alessandro Belvedere [62] and Dudley Freedom [60].
All scores were recorded from July 12, 2016.
Klout attempts to quantify a person or business social media influence through a variety of platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, among others. The scores run from one to 100 with 40 being average.
