July 2016: Top 10 Bernews “Photo Of Day”
Bernews features a “Photo of the Day” in our email newsletter, social media and app each morning, giving readers a taste of the island to start their day.
Always popular, July’s top photos attracted tens of thousands of likes and shares on social media, and judging by the number of readers’ “likes”, the month’s most popular photos included the island’s beautiful waters, inviting beaches, and views from on high.

1] Island Waters
This gorgeous photo of the island’s uniquely inviting waters was the most popular photo of the month, attracting over 1,000 shares and likes.
2] Bermuda From Above
This aerial view claimed the month’s second spot, with Facebook users awarding it more than 540 likes and shares.
3] Flatt’s Inlet
This picturesque shot of Flatt’s Inlet earned more than 500 likes and shares on Facebook.
4] Clear Waters
Flatt’s made July’s list for a second time with this photo of beautifully clear waters, earning nearly 450 likes and shares on Facebook.
5] Overcast Sky
Combining some of the island’s best aspects into one photograph, this shot of an overcast sky earned 446 likes and shares on Facebook.
6] South Shore
Green foliage and blue waters on the island’s south shore come together in this shot, which received 445 likes and shares.
7] Hamilton From Above
The island’s capital of Hamilton is seen from above in this aerial shot, which garnered more than 435 likes and shares on Facebook.
8] Rugged Shoreline
Bermuda’s shoreline secured a place in July’s top 10 photos, earning about 400 likes and shares from Facebook users.
9] Horseshoe Bay Beach
Always a favourite, Horseshoe Bay Beach is seen in this photograph, with readers giving it 405 likes and shares on Facebook.
10] Elbow Beach
Another of the island’s beaches made July’s list, with this splendid shot of Elbow Beach rounding out the top ten with 393 likes and shares.
