The ladies of the Kardias Club hosted their annual ‘Tea with a Twist’ at the Fairmont Southampton on Sunday, with the women in attendance dressed festively in hats and gloves to enjoy high tea and an afternoon of fashion, fellowship, and fun.

The event also featured the Kardias Debutantes, including Andira Marie Crichlow, Deja Kiara Harvey, J’aunt Gabrielle James, Asia Nureyev Seymour, Raeesah Zahrah Shakir, Pier Anna Simons, Rhyesheen Rosealice Suragh, and Chefanices Karen Williams.

A spokesperson said, “Present at the Tea with a Twist on July 2nd were the Kardias Debutantes. These eight young women were mentored by Kardias Club members throughout the nine-month philanthropy education programme in which they were enrolled.

“Believing that the future of charitable causes in Bermuda will require more than just the casual volunteer to survive, the Kardias Club endeavors to play a role in creating the type of individual necessary for third sector organizations to survive.”

“The presentation of the Debutantes takes place on July 9, 2016 at the Mid Ocean Club.”
