Police Impound Vessel, Investigation Underway

Early yesterday morning [July 3] the police — acting on information from Customs — impounded a boat “after noticing specific irregularities.”

A police spokesperson said, “Bermuda Police Service in the early hours of Sunday morning after acting on information received from HM Customs have impounded a marine vessel after noticing specific irregularities. As this is an active investigation no further information will be given at this time.”

When asked, police declined to give any further information, citing the ongoing investigation.

    • Mmmm, where should I start, if this boat made its way to Bermuda and de occupants vanished before customs could process them or any cargo that may have been removed………and not to mention ALL the race boats that have been pre-cleared en-route to Bermuda !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      This is gonna be a LONG HOT SUMMER.
