Reggie Lambe Scores In Pre Season Friendly

July 6, 2016

Bermuda’s Reggie Lambe — who recently signed for Carlisle United — scored in the 49th minute of a friendly match against Queen of the South, with the game ending with Queen of the South winning 3 – 2.

The club’s match report said, “United battled out a competitive first friendly of the season against Queen of the South today and the visitors grabbed the win after the hosts had mounted a second half fight back.

“The Queens went into the break two goals to the good – one bagged on the stroke of half time by former-Blue Steven Rigg – but a crisp volley from Reggie Lambe and a peach of a free kick from Danny Grainger brought things back to level terms with just over half an hour left to play.

“A late winner sealed it for the away side but there were plenty of positives to take from the lively run-out.”
