Court: MP Leah Scott Given Absolute Discharge

August 17, 2016

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [August 17], Leah Scott was given an absolute discharge after pleading guilty in relation to an incident in which she entered a woman’s home.

The Court heard that Ms Scott — an OBA MP representing Constituency #30 Southampton East Central — and the female complainant were apparently in a relationship with the same man.

On January 29th, Ms Scott went to the woman’s house and entered it. She apologised in Court today.

Ms Scott was represented by lawyer Mark Pettingill, and noting that the offence was on the lower end, Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo granted her an absolute discharge.
