Cricket Disciplinary Results: Douglas, Brangman

Christopher Douglas has been banned from all cricket for three months and Ricardo Brangman has also been banned from all cricket until 22 August 2016, the Bermuda Cricket Board said today.

The BCB said, “Christopher Douglas pleaded guilty of a level 3 charge: Threat of assault on another Player, Player Support Personnel or any other person [including a spectator]. Mr Douglas has been banned from all cricket for a period of 3 months. He will be allowed to play again as of 5 November 2016.

“The Disciplinary Committee found Ricardo Brangman guilty of a level 2 charge: Using language or gesture[s] that is seriously obscene, seriously offensive or of a seriously insulting nature to another Player, Player Support Personnel, Umpire, Match Referee or any other third person.

“Mr Brangman has been banned from all cricket which is to include 2 Logic League 50-over matches. He will be allowed to play again on 22 August 2016.”

      This link shows pollard vs starc in IPL. As a result of their actions both players admitted to level 2 offences under the IPL’s code of conduct(which follows icc code), under which the penalties for a first offence range from a fine of between 50-100% of match fee and/or a suspension of up to two matches.
      So before you go questioning whether or not there is a grudge held over Mr. Fubler question the boards actions at large. Both cases have been handled unjustly.
