Shelby Weldon Joins Marsh Captive Solutions
On August 8, Shelby Weldon joined Marsh Captive Solutions as a Team Leader and member of the firm’s senior management team.
In this role, Mr. Weldon will be responsible for the oversight of a team of 14 captive management professionals and the seamless delivery of Marsh’s captive management and consulting services.
Mr. Weldon will be based in the firm’s Bermuda office and will report to Lawrence Bird, head of Marsh’s Bermuda office.
Mr. Weldon joins Marsh from the Bermuda Monetary Authority [BMA] where he most recently served as Director, Licensing & Authorizations.
Prior to that, he served as the Director of Compliance and Deputy Director, Insurance Supervision with the BMA. Mr. Weldon has 30 years of experience in Bermuda financial services and began his career as an auditor at an international audit firm.
