MP Foggo Welcomes Students Back To School
“With students returning to school, we are reminded that a solid education is the foundation for a successful future,” Shadow Minister of Education and Training Lovitta Foggo said.
“As our students head back to class across the island, we wish each of them a successful school year, and encourage them all to strive to do their best,” continued Ms Foggo.
“We believe in you, our students, and are confident that you will access that potential you possess and develop it into the skills necessary to be the leaders of tomorrow. Stay focused, work diligently and there will be nothing off limits to you.
“To all teachers, we thank and appreciate you. Your hard work, dedication and sacrifices often go unacknowledged, but regardless, you continue to work with our students, ensuring our future.
“As a former educator and someone who remains passionate about education, I understand the preparation and work that goes into making your classrooms a place of productivity and learning, and I appreciate your efforts.
“May the upcoming school year be a success! May the learning environment for student and teacher alike, be nurturing and safe. With the combined efforts of all key players; the administration, parents, and all other community sectors linked hand-in-hand, let’s secure our children’s future. ”
