Video: Bermuda Logo During AC Race In France
Bermuda received some exposure during the recent Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Toulon, France, with the island’s signature pink tourism logo featured on the water during a broadcast of the event.
Glenn Jones of the Bermuda Tourism Authority said, “Both on television and with our marketing activations at venues around the world, the BTA is very pleased with the exposure Bermuda is receiving during the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series.”
“The sailing fans we meet along the way are fired up about Bermuda in 2017; the #RaceToBermuda journey has been fantastic.”
The event saw Artemis Racing leave France celebrating after taking the regatta honours, followed by Softbank Team Japan in second overall.
That result extends Artemis Racing’s overall lead in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series as attention now turns to the final event in Fukuoka, Japan.
It was a little much, and distracting in my opinion.
