Basketball: Island Ballers & Tsunami Win
The Island Basketball League resume at the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium after been affected by last week’s Hurricane Nicole, with both new teams to the league getting wins.
The first game of the night saw the Island Ballers defeat the Skyforce 50-41. John Lee scored 29 points for the Island Ballers, while the Skyforce were led by Jorrel Smith with 24 points.
In the second game of the night the Tsunami defeated the Hoopstars 52-43 picking up their second win of the new season, Jason Simons led the way for the Tsunami’s with 22 points, while the Hoopstars got 14 points from Johnny Lowe.
