October 13, 2016

The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] will be hosting a three match international series against Canada later this month.

“This reciprocal tour serves as further preparation for the National Squad prior to their departure to Los Angeles to compete in the ICC World Cricket League,” a spokesperson said.

The Canadian squad arrive on Wednesday October 19th with a squad of 15 players and will play three 50 over games in their six day stay.

The games will start at 10am. The schedule is:

  • Friday October 21st Bermuda v Canada National Stadium
  • Sunday October 23rd Bermuda v Canada Sea Breeze Oval
  • Monday October 24th Bermuda v Canada National Stadium

Lloyd Fray, President of the BCB, said: “We are working hard to give our squad every opportunity to excel in the upcoming tournament. I am pleased that we are able to continue to work well with Cricket Canada on a bi-lateral basis to provide quality international cricket.

“I know that the squad members and coaching staff have been training exceptionally hard and the players will be eager to get more tough international matches under their belt. I encourage all of Bermuda to come out and support our team particularly as the BCB has made admission free.”
