Retirement Planning Educational Seminar

October 18, 2016

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce will hold a Retirement Planning Educational Breakfast Seminar in the Chamber boardroom on Thursday, October 27 from 8.00am to 10.00am.

The seminar will feature three discussion panels on the topics of Health & Wellness, Financial Management and Personal Development.

Kendaree Burgess, Executive Director at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, said, “With Bermuda’s aging population we thought it most appropriate to shed light on the topic of retirement. People should take active steps to secure a comfortable future, the first being to assess needs and resources available.

“Keeping with this, we are delighted that representatives from the Bermuda Heart Foundation, BF&M, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Butterfield Bank, Sunshine Healing and the Olderhood Group will be on-hand to discuss issues surrounding the transition from the workplace to retirement.”

Bill Storie, CEO of the Olderhood Group, said, “The sessions will be moderated by members of the Olderhood Group Team. Most people plan more for a two-week vacation than they do for their retirement life; we will be addressing all of the issues that people neglect to consider when they think about retirement planning.”

Tickets are $20 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members and can be purchased in advance from the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce. Call 295-4201, email klightbourne@bcc.bm or visit the Chamber website for more information.
