Video: Bermuda U20 Football Team Return

[Updated with video] The Bermuda U20 World Cup football team returned home this evening [Nov 1] after making a strong showing to capture third place in the Caribbean Football Union U20 Championships in Curacao.

The team was enthusiastically greeted by friends and family as they walked out of the airport, with Bermuda Football Association President Mark Wade and Junior Minister of Social Development & Sports Nandi Outerbridge also on hand to greet the players.

“The players have forever etched their names in the history books as the first Bermuda team to secure 3rd place in the CFU Championships and advance on to the CONCACAF U20 Championships that will be held February 17th to the 5th of March 2017 in Costa Rica,” the BFA said.

    Congratulations to the under 20s but we also qualified in 97 Trinidad n Tobago in a group with Costa Rica Usa n Dominican republic squad consisted of khano Smith John Barry gumbo bean to name a few
