Bus Kiosk Closed Due To Smell [Open Again]

[Updated] The Bus Kiosk at Central Terminal in Hamilton remains closed today [Nov 29] due to the “problem of a persistent smell,” and the Department of Public Transportation are “projecting the re-opening of the kiosk tomorrow afternoon.”

A statement from the DPT said, “The Department of Public Transportation has advised that the Bus kiosk at Central Terminal in Hamilton remained closed today [Nov 29], but reported that the Department of Works & Engineering are confident they can soon remedy the problem of a persistent smell.

“The DPT are projecting the re-opening of the kiosk tomorrow afternoon.”

Update 12.59pm: The DPT has advised that the Kiosk has reopened as of 11.30am, saying: “The Department of Public Transportation has advised that the Bus kiosk at Central Terminal in Hamilton has reopened today. The DPT said that the kiosk was re-opened as of 11.30am this morning.”
