Court: Man Pleads Guilty To Armed Robberies

Appearing in the Supreme Court Arraignments session today  [Nov 1], a 40-year-old man was remanded in custody after pleading guilty to charges involving armed robberies.

Tio Weeks pleaded guilty to robbing Pasta Basta on two occasions, and to robbing the Wok; and doing so whilst using a firearm.

The three robberies took place on 13 March, and 25 and 27 September this year; each with a firearm.

Weeks was given a sentencing date in November, and will remain in custody until that date.
