Made In Bermuda Concert Set For November 5

November 3, 2016

A number of the island’s musical talents are set to take to the stage on Saturday, November 5 for the Made in Bermuda concert event, with part proceeds to support the Chewstick Foundation.

The concert lineup includes Bermuda Idols Jesse Seymour and Olivia Hamilton, Lloyd Holder, and Sheila Smith, with performances by Jazz Trumpeter Conrad Roach and DJ Jugglin Jason. Also headlining the show is Best of Bermuda award-winning band Wall Street with their full compliment of some of Bermuda’s top musicians and singers.

Olivia Hamilton performs at the CoH Back To School Event in September of this year:

A spokesperson said, “Made in Bermuda was built around the premise that Bermuda boasts great artists and musicians that can headline their own concert event. Bermuda Idol Jesse Seymour is a crowd favourite and quietly likely the island’s top showman.

“He undoubtedly has a phenomenal voice that is showcased whether he’s singing r&b or reggae but it’s his ability to command the room that makes him a showstopper. Lloyd Holder has been known to make the ladies swoon as he belts notes a la Babyface and Sheila Smith is a diva like none other with dexterity.

“The youthful energy of artists like Jesse Seymour coupled with the veteran stage presence of Sheila Smith will definitely make for a phenomenal show.

“Guests can expect a great time from beginning to end at Made in Bermuda. The night will kick-off with cocktails and food beginning in the City Hall lobby at 7pm with the sounds of Jazz Trumpeter Conrad Roach and DJ Jugglin Jason and others.

“Also featured that night will be a special performance from Chewstick and a surprise guest performance.

Their programs and events have been a space for local artists to develop and perform and PinkSand Entertainment has been happy to support them over the years.

“Their existence is a critical part of the development of arts and entertainment in Bermuda and we’re happy that we can play a part in continuing to support them.”

Tickets for the event are $75 for general admission and $125 for VIP and are available online at bdatix.bm and at People’s Pharmacy, Mystiques, Pulp & Circumstance, and Freshmen’s in the Heron Bay Plaza.
