Talented young Bermudian Mezzo Soprano Kerri-Lynne Dietz will return to Bermuda this weekend to bring seasonal joy to concert goers attending the Bermuda School of Music’s “Joy to the World,” led by Director Marjorie Pettit.

The concert will be held on Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17 at 7.30pm at St. John’s Church Pembroke.

A spokesperson said, “Kerri-Lynne began singing at a young age and was one of the earliest members of St. John’s Youth Choir founded by Marjorie Pettit.

“Kerri went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and she has since gone on to perform at the Bermuda Festival and prestigious cultural venues throughout Europe.”

Marjorie Pettit said, “Kerri’s interpretation of Handel’s ‘O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings To Zion from Messiah’ will be a joy to hear.”

“’Joy to the World’ will also feature the Bermuda Chamber Choir and the Bermuda School of Music Youth Choir performing works by Handel and Bach, as well as a wide range of enjoyable Christmas pieces both old and new.”
