Court: Man Denies Assault, Not Paying Taxi Fare

Appearing in Magistrates Court, a 53-year-old man denied assaulting a police officer, using threatening words  and not paying a taxi fare.

Alfred Tobin — whose address was stated to be in New York — pleaded not guilty to assaulting a police officer; using threatening words to a police officer by saying: ”I am going to kick your f***** a**,” and not paying a $26.75 taxi fare.

All three charges stemmed from an alleged interaction in  January 2017

Tobin was given a trial date of 25th January 2017 and was granted bail of $3,000 with one surety.
