Fox To Speak On Captives In Emerging Markets

Appleby Bermuda LATAM Manager Eduardo Fox [pictured] will be speaking at the World Captive Forum, one of the longest running international captive insurance conferences in the world.

Mr Fox will join over 50 highly acclaimed executive representatives and industry experts in presenting to international attendees within the captive insurance industry, serving as moderator for a panel titled, “Captives in Emerging Markets.”

A spokesperson said, “The panel session will provide an in-depth analysis of some of the key issues facing captives across the developing captive markets of Latin America and Asia. Following the panel, Mr Fox will participate in a roundtable discussion on a variety of technical subjects related to Captive investments and other captive issues related to emerging markets.

“Mr Fox is the co-leader of Appleby’s Latin America team and works with major Latin American economies, such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

“He also serves as Official Advisor for Latin American Affairs to both the Government of Bermuda and the Bermuda Insurance Managers Association [BIMA].

“Appleby is pleased to be represented by Mr Fox at this prestigious international event where Mr Fox will also collaborate with the Bermuda Business Development Association [BDA] to promote Bermuda as the premier captive domicile.”

Mr Fox said, “Representing Bermuda and working alongside the BDA at such a fantastic conference is a privilege, and I look forward to both moderating the Captives in Emerging Markets panel as well as participating in the round table discussions.
