Senior Men’s & Women’s Rugby On Saturday

January 13, 2017

Senior Men’s and Women’s rugby action will return to the National Sports Centre on Saturday [Jan 14], with four matches on the schedule.

The Bermuda Police Rugby Club will pay their respects to former Police Officer Paul Marsden, who passed away during a match against Mariners RFC in 2006, an occasion they’ve marked every year since.

The Bermuda Police Rugby Club will also be raising money for the Bermuda Cancer Center with both Men’s and Women’s teams wearing customised ‘Pink Police’ rugby socks.

The socks will be sold for $10 per pair to all players and any supporter; players not wearing pink socks will pay a $10 per game fine.

All money raised from the purchase of socks and gathered from fines will be donated to the Bermuda Cancer Center.

The action will see Renegades RFC’s undefeated Men’s and Women’s teams face Teachers RFC, while Police take on Mariners RFC; the full schedule for the day follows below:

Women’s 1st Team League

  • 12:00 – Renegades vs Teachers
