Two People Remain In ICU Following Collisions

The 18 year old Hamilton parish man injured in a collision on December 30th, and the 48 year old American man injured in a rental cycle collision on December 24th are both in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check earlier today [Jan 2] the 18 year old Hamilton parish man injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at the junction of North Shore Road and Store Hill in Smith’s parish around 3:45pm Friday, December 30th was in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Likewise, at last check earlier today [Jan 2] the visiting 48 year old American man injured when the rental cycle he was riding struck the kerb on South Road in Warwick near the junction with Ocean Sands Road around 11pm Saturday, December 24th was in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Inquiries continue regarding both incidents and any witnesses that have not already come forward should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
