Court: 26-Year-Old Denies Cannabis Charges
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [Feb 28], a 26-year-old man denied possessing cannabis and cannabis resin.
Maxwell Hayward denied possessing cannabis and cannabis resin intended for supply, which he was alleged to have done in September 2016.
The Crown Prosecutor told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that weight of the substances was alleged to be 28.42 and 40.00 grams.
The Magistrate granted bail at $10,000 with one surety in a like amount; set trial for May; ordered Hayward to report to Hamilton Police Station every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and notify police of any change of address.
