Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Results
Sunny skies, a touch of wind, and mud from yesterday’s heavy downpour all combined to form perfect weather conditions for Race 8 of the Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Series presented by Beck’s Beer and Furniture Walk, which was held in the east end of the island at Ferry Reach Park this morning [Feb 26].
Division: Male A
Robin Horsfield in 1st, Matthew Oliveira 2nd and Adam Kirk in 3rd
Division: Male Veteran
Grant Goudge taking 1st, Hans Hirschi 2nd, Chris Roque rounding out the top 3.
Division: Female Veteran
Sarah Bonnett was the only racer in today’s race.
Division: Male B
Ricky Sousa took 1st, Blake Camara 2nd Jenai Robinson 3rd.
Division: Male Novice
Garth Fleming 1st, Wendell Burrows 2nd, Shawn Gravito 3rd
Division: Female Novice
Wenda Roberts 1st, Earlena Ingham 2nd, Belinda Castree 3rd
Division: Male 13-15
Blake Oliveira 1st, Finn Clarkson 2nd, Liam Flannery 3rd
Division: Female 13-15 Division
Megan Hands was the only racer in today’s race.

Odin Heinz taking 1st, Jonah Trott 2nd. Gordon Smith in 3rd

Chelsea Lomas in 1st, Lindsay Hayward 2nd.
In 2 weeks time the series heads over to Hogbay Park for the final race of the season. With Championship points on the line it really is anyones guess who will take the top spot.
