Results: Sensei Roots Annual Shiai Invitation

The Sensei Roots 22nd annual Shiai Invitation took place this weekend, with two hours of closely contested action.

Talia Iris scored a double grandchampionship in forms and weapons over close seconds by Andrea McKey, and junior competitor Kentaro Bean also won grands in forms and weapons.

Only two competitors, Dominique Brown and Zachary Bishop, attempted the triple by entering all three categories of forms, weapons and sparring. Dominique won all three by walkover, but was runner up to Callahj Symonds in the forms grandchampionship and to Kentaro Bean for weapons.

Zachary won forms by walkover, and took the silver medal in both weapons and sparring. Jahkeyo Seymour scored and double first place in forms and sparring.
