Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Results
The final race of the 2016-2017 Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Series presented by Beck’s Beer and Furniture Walk was held this morning [March 12] at Hog Bay Park in the west end.
The course at Hog Bay rewarded the technical rider, with one of the fastest descents of the season, along with a challenging climb. Valuable points were up for grabs as the championship point series came to a close.
Division: Male A
Robin Horsfield in 1st, Kaden Hopkins 2nd and Brian Steinhoff in 3rd.
Division: Male Veteran
Hans Hirschi taking 1st, David Byrne 2nd and Chris Roque rounding out the top 3.
Division: Female Veteran
Sarah Bonnett was the only racer in today’s race
Division: Male B
Conor White took 1st , Ziani Burgesson 2nd and Blake Camara 3rd .
Division: Male Novice
Shawn Gravito 1st , Garth Fleming 2nd and Andrew Packwood 3rd.
Divison: Male 13-15
Nicholas Narraway in 1st, Finn Clarkson 2nd and Liam Flannery in 3rd.
Divison: Female 13-15
Megan Hands was the only racer in today’s race.
Divison: Male 12 & Under
Gordon Smith taking 1st, Jonah Trott 2nd and Rory Fleming in 3rd.
Divison: Female 12 & Under
Chelsea Lomas was the only racer in today’s race.
