“Turquoise” & “Taking It Outside” Arts Shows
The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will be hosting two shows — “Turquoise” and “Taking it Outside” — beginning on Sunday, April 23rd.
A spokesperson said, “This Sunday [April 23], the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard invites the public to the opening of two shows.
“Turquoise” is an Artist Member’s show which is featuring as one can imagine, anything to do with the colour. A selection of art in all media will be on display and for sale; Jewelry, ceramics, mixed media and creative paintings have been submitted.
“A solo show by Margaret Potts will also be featured, entitled “Taking it Outside”. A Plein Air painter, Margaret Potts features new and unseen works in oil and palete knife. The show will take the viewer to Bermuda’s historic houses and buildings, through hidden paths and behind old stone walls.
“The Arts Centre has now changed to its summer hours. To be noted – The show’s Opening is from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
“All are invited. Both shows run until May 19. The Bermuda Arts Centre is open every day from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
“In addition to both shows, the Bermuda Arts Centre offers a large selection of locally made items from its Gift Shop area. Free admission – Wheel chair accessible.
