April 19, 2017 | 0 Comments

An America’s Cup contest is underway with the public invited to enter to win up to 35 tickets to the America’s Cup.

“This encourages entries to include friends, family, school groups or co-workers and each entry will explain why they should win tickets to the first day of racing and the elaborate Bermuda-themed Opening Ceremony on May 26th,” the ACBDA said.

“The contest rules are simple: You send 35 words or a 35-second video or a 35-second audio to answer:

  1. Why you love the America’s Cup and
  2. Why you should win the tickets and
  3. How many of the 35 tickets you want to win.

“You are invited to enter by sending a selfie video, voice clip or writing, in any way you like, ranging from rap, to song to poetry! Entries should be sent to contest@bbc.bm with full name and phone number, before 5pm this Thursday, April 20th.

“On Friday April 21st, with 35 days to go, America’s Cup CEO Sir Russell Coutts will announce the winners on radio station, Ocean 89 at 8.45am.

“The contest is open to all Bermuda residents, and is limited to one entry per person.”
