Video: Sunday April 16th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

Bermuda celebrating Good Friday and Easter, Sakari Famous and Tiara DeRosa winning Carifta medals, Judah Chapman being named the ‘Man of the Match’ for AFC Wimbledon Under 18 football team, and the Bermuda Institute holding a Science Fair were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, a ‘Bermuda-style’ house built in Florida won an award, Markel CATCo Investment Management will be sponsoring the Ag Show, David Bascome and Baltimore Blast won the MASL Championship and a collaborative effort involving people from the Bahamas, Bermuda and the USA resulted in a turtle satellite transmitter being located and important data on sea turtle migration being safely recovered.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Salvation Army Kite Workshop, Devonshire Colts winning PDL Final, the FA Challenge Cup, Chief Justice Ian Kawaley visit to Berkeley Institute, the Bermuda Institute Science Fair, Tall Ship ‘Oliver Hazard Perry’, the Digicel TriFest & ITU Continental Cup and photos of Good Friday celebrations across the island.
