Video: Sunday April 23rd ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Bermuda’s Carifta athletes won 41 medals, thousands attended the Ag Show at Botanical Gardens, Dr. Kyjuan Brown donated breakfast for students during their exam days, and Erica Hawley winning the draft-legal race at the USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships in Alabama, were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Bermuda fighters dominated at the 18th annual Bridgetown Burning International Combat Games in Barbados, AIG supported the Bermuda Pacers Track Club’s 10th annual Schools’ Relay Classic, and Bermuda College culinary students worked alongside America’s Cup chefs.

Other good news stories included Horseshoe Bay Beach being named one of “world’s most colorful beaches,” RUBiS donating over $3,000 to P.A.L.S., Mitchell Campbell being named Golf Performer of Week, and Dage Minors winning a 1500m race in Connecticut.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of Tokio Millennium Re employees giving back to the community, the ‘Eat Lionfish Chefs Throwdown’ event, the 2017 Ag Show, the Peppercorn Ceremony in St. George’s, the International Town Crier Competition, and the Bermuda Triangle Challenge.
