Health Minister Celebrates With Retired Nurses
Today [May 12] is International Nurses Day, and Minister of Health and Seniors Jeanne Atherden recently had an opportunity to meet with retired nurses as part of celebrations for Nurses’ Month.
The retired nurses were gathered for a special tea in their honour. Awards were given to the most newly retired nurse Monica Lindo [left] and the longest in retirement nurse Annette Lightbourne [right], photographed with Government’s Chief Nursing Officer, Gaynell Hayward-Caesar [centre].
