Official Police Website Now Back Online
[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service said they have “received reports that the online host of our website may have been compromised by malware and is actively taking steps with the vendor to identify and address the issue.”
“Members of the public are advised that until further notice, the BPS website will be taken offline,” a police spokesperson said.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and the public will be notified when the BPS website will be accessible again.”
Update May 22, 9.10am: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] website is now back online and accessible as normal after no malware issues were detected.
“We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding while the necessary site integrity checks were carried out.”
