Ball Hockey Season Resumes With Triple Header
The Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey season recently resumed, with a triple header seeing the three games producing a total of 31 goals.
USA 2 – Canada 3
In the opener, Canada defeated USA 3-2, but they needed a shootout to do so. During regulation time, Matt Katzsch and Jeremy Estey scored a goal each for Canada, while the USA got a goal apiece from James Amaral and Ian Beaudoin, in the shootout Shawn Mckee would get the all important goal for Canada to win.
Sweden 11 – USA 5
Christopher Jackson led the charge for Sweden as they defeated the USA 11 – 5, Derek Winch added a hat-trick, with David Provost added two goals and then Matthew Benson and Baby Jackson also got on the scoreboard for Sweden. Jeffrey Ingelman scored a hat-trick for USA, with Derek Farmer adding the other two.
Sweden 9 – Canada 1
Sweden’s goal scoring feats continued as they picked up a 9 – 1 win over Canada in the nightcap. Matthew Benson scored five times for the winners, with Baby Jackson scoring twice, Christopher Jackson and David Provost scored a goal each. Canada’s lone strike came off the stick of Ryan Wilson.
