One Man Injured, Four People Arrested

A 25-year-old man is being treated at KEMH for stab wounds, and three men and one woman have been arrested following a fight early this morning on Front Street.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:30am today [Thursday, June 8th] police officers and first responders were dispatched to a reported disturbance on Front Street in the City of Hamilton.

“Initial information suggests that a fight involving several individuals occurred in the vicinity of Parliament Street.

“An injured 25-year-old man, believed to be from Devonshire, received first aid from police officers at the scene before being transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of stab wounds.

“At last check, he was expected to be admitted to a general ward.

“Three men ranging in age from 18 to 25-years-old as well as a 26-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.

“The scene was processed by the relevant police personnel and inquiries continue.

“Any witnesses or persons with relevant information are encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.”

    This incident happened on Front St. near Parliament St.!! Previous reports used to say “outside the Beach, on Front St”; I guess Mr. Olsen has had too much notoriety??
