TeamBDA To Race In Youth America’s Cup Finals
After advancing through the qualifying round, Bermuda’s Youth America’s Cup team will be competing in the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup finals, which are set to get underway today [June 20].
Premier Michael Dunkley said, “I wish the team the very best and I’m so proud of them and how they have engendered true Bermudian spirit.
“We hope that Bermudians will be able to find time to show their support by coming to the Americas’s Cup Village for today and tomorrow’s 2pm racing. TeamBDA hears the cheers and sees the flags, let’s make sure they know we are behind them.”
America’s Cup Bermuda CEO Mike Winfield said, “From the ACBDA team, indeed from all Bermudians, a very sincere thanks to all of TeamBDA for your hard work, know that your country is behind you.”
The America’s Cup Village opens at 11.30 each day and a special pre-race show begins at 12 noon. The Bermuda Broadcasting Company will be showing the race live on TV, and the race will also be live streamed here on RedBull.tv.
