Injured Man Discharged, Woman Remains In ICU

The 27-year-old male motorcyclist injured in a collision with two cars on Middle Road in Warwick has been treated and discharged from hospital, while the 36-year-old female car driver injured in a Hamilton Parish car crash remains in stable condition in the ICU.

Both accidents took place on July 7.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [July 17], the 27 year old male motorcyclist injured in a collision with two cars around 8:40pm Friday, July 7th on Middle Road, Warwick near the junction with Tamarind Vale had been discharged, after initially receiving treatment in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“At last check this morning, the 36 year old female car driver injured in a Harrington Sound Road, Hamilton parish car crash around 5:45pm Friday, July 7th remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses that have not already come forward are encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
