1. How does it feel to have been selected for such an elite squad?

Having been selected for such an elite squad feels wonderful and I am very excited to be a part of the team.

2. How will you prepare for the competition?

Personally, I will prepare for the competition by training extra hard, eating right and being more focused.

3. When did you start playing football and what prompted you to start?

I started playing football when I was 6 years old and my brother Q’shun prompted me to start playing because I would go down his house every other weekend and watch him play football and I would have nothing else to do so I thought that I would join in.

4. Do you feel that girls’ and women’s’ football gets enough support from the local community?

No, I do not think we have enough support because I feel that everyone’s focus is more on the boys than the girls. I say that because the boys have hosted more games in Bermuda and they have more opportunities and this is our first tournament that we have hosted. Overall, I just feel that the boys get more support than the girls do.

5. Which Bermudian athlete, coach or sporting figure do you admire most and why?

The coach that I admire the most is Naquita Robinson because she has inspired me to do a lot of things since the time I was in M1 at T.N Tatem up until this day, she continuously pushes me and leads me in the right direction.

6. How does it feel to get the opportunity to play in your own country and in front of a home crowd?

To be playing at home, it feels nerve-wrecking because many Bermudians can be very critical so I know we are going to have to know what’s ahead of us and bring our best out, but other than that, I am excited.
