Two Men Arrested After Stabbing In Hamilton

Two men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 19-year-old at a Hamilton business on Wednesday afternoon.

A police spokesperson said, “The 19-year-old involved in the stabbing that took place at Sports Locker on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 is in stable condition in the hospital and two men are in police custody in relation to this incident. This investigation is ongoing.

The police also provided an update on another stabbing incident, saying “the 40-year-old male victim who was stabbed at a residence on Beacon Hill Lane on Tuesday, August 1, is listed in stable condition in a general ward in the hospital and the 30-year-old suspect is still in police custody. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.”

On an unrelated note, the police also confirmed that the “62- year-old victim who fell overboard next to the flag pole on Front Street on Wednesday evening, is still in the hospital where he is in critical condition in the ICU.”
