Browne & Franklin Compete In Argentina

Bermudian squash players Noah Browne and Micah Franklin recently took part in the Men’s Pan American Championship 2017, at the Tortugas Country Club, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Both players received First Round Bye’s.

In the Second Round, Franklin took on Rafael Alarcon from Brazil and needed five games to advance 11-9, 11-3, 7-11, 6-11, 11-3.

Browne took on Juan Pablo Roude from Argentina and went down in straight games 11-4, 11-9, 11-7.

Franklin would then take on the Tournament number 5 seed Josue Enriquez from Guyana, and this went five games, with Enriquez winning the 66 minute battle 6-11, 11-9, 5-11, 11-9, 11-9.
