Results: BBA Tokio Cycling Road Race

Matthew Oliveira was able to hold off a strong challenge from his Winners Edge teammates Kaden Hopkins and Gary Raynor to win the Bermuda Bicycle Associations Tokio Road Race.

In a Combined A/B Division race Oliveira clocked a winning time of 1:24:40.147, Hopkins was second in 1:24:43.346 and Raynor finished third in stopping the clock in a time of 1:24:44.711.

A photo finish was needed to determine a winner in the Adult C Division as Dennis Joell was clocked at 1:14:49.788 and Stephen Paynter recorded a time of 1:14:49.903, Rhys Pearce finished third in 1:14:51.330.

Ashley Estwanik won the Women’s A Division race in a time of 1:14:55.646, with her Madison teammate Rose Anna Hoey second in 1:15:16.914 and Cora Lee Starzomski was third clocking a time of 1:21:43.577.

The Women’s B title went to Caitlin Conyers who was clocked at 1:02:12.117, Eileen Mullowney was second in 1:02:15.923 and Maddie Durkin finished third recording a time of 1:03:21.943.

Nazarai Fox won the Junior A Division in what would be the closes finish of the day, Fox was clocked at 1:02:11.360, with Blake Oliveira second in 1:02:11.400, Zamauri Richardson finished third in a time of 1:14:35.926.

The Junior B race was won by Gordon Smith who clocked 36:41.732, Casera Durham was second in 36:49.312 and Michael Tadman finished third in a time of 37:03.027.
