Red Cross Connecting People After Hurricane

September 11, 2017

The Red Cross is trying to enable to contact between family members and loved ones who have been affected by the passing of Hurricane Irma in the Atlantic Ocean.

A Bermuda Red Cross spokesperson said, “In case there are people who are worried about missing loved ones, there is now a page on the Family Links website where they can register missing persons, and survivors can say they are safe and well.

“With the help of British Red Cross, we can restore family links in affected areas including Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands and other British Overseas Territories.

“Realise that many people in the affected areas at this point do not have internet, but if/when they do it may be helpful.”
