Drivers Treated & Discharged Following Collision

Two women were taken to the hospital via ambulance for “medical assessment of non-life threatening injuries, treated and later discharged” following a two car collision in Hamilton on Saturday afternoon.

A police spokesperson said, “‎Around 4:10pm Saturday, October 14th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two car collision at the junction of Church Street and Court Street in the City of Hamilton.

“It appears that when the crash occurred, one car was being driven along Church Street and the other was being driven along Court Street.

“Both drivers involved, believed to be a 55-year-old St. George’s woman and a 58-year-old Southampton woman, were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for medical assessment of non-life threatening injuries, treated and later discharged.

“The two vehicles involved were damaged and inquiries continue.

“Any witnesses to this collision that have not already come forward are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.“
