Ball Hockey League: Montreal & Senators Win

The Bermuda Ball Hockey League season moved into round three with a double header at the PCC Hockey Rink with 17 goals.

Montreal Canadiens 5 Edmonton Oilers 4

The opener was a 9 goal thriller that saw the Montreal Canadiens defeat the Edmonton Oilers in a shootout, with the game locked at 4 – 4 and no goals in the overtime period, Ryan Wilson scored the Montreal Canadiens shootout winner.

During regulation time the Montreal Canadiens got single strikes off the sticks of Troy Dort, Bill Mcclure, Andrew Bonner and Anthony Kapsimalis, while the Edmonton Oilers got 2 goals from Chad Cundliffe and single strikes from Josh Bush and Jon Talbot.

Toronto Maple Leafs 3 Ottawa Senators 5

The Ottawa Senators defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 5 – 3 in the nightcap.

The Ottawa Senators were led to victory by Cory Caouette who scored twice, with Cameron Poland, Ed Sweeney and Ian Beaudion all adding a goal each, while the Toronto Maple Leafs got single strikes from Scott Shannon, Christopher Merritt and Brian White.
