PartnerRe Estimate $475M Catastrophe Losses
Bermuda-based PartnerRe Ltd. estimates their combined catastrophe losses in the third quarter of 2017 to be approximately $475 million [pre-tax, net of retrocession and reinstatement premiums] from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
The company said their estimate of losses for these events is “based on a preliminary analysis of the Company’s exposures, the current assumption of total insured industry losses and preliminary information received from certain cedants to date.”
