  1. It's only just begun says:

Another photo op on our dollar! And not even giving us the tax payers the right to know what it’s costing us!!
Of ALL the faults of the previous administration they let the public know what there photo ops was costing us.

    • PBanks says:

Photo Op? This is a multi-government meeting.

By all means ask away about the costs, but don’t insinuate that the attendance of Bda representatives was a mere photo op.

    • Onion Juice says:

Ah. So it’s all fine that travel costs are not disclosed. Got it.

      • aceboy says:

The travel costs of OBA MPs were made public. The PLP (and you) were howling about transparency and good governance before the election and yet as soon as the PLP took over the reporting portal went down and then Burt went on a series of trips wit no mention of costs. Here you are defending it. Pathetic.

    • Um.... says:

Election is 4+ years away. You’ll either get the costs at some point before then and complain or you won’t and complain. Only one thing is constant.

  3. Triangle Drifter says:

Hopefully, he was gaining information on how having a monopoly utility can become a thing of the past in an ever changing renewable energy world. I hope the PLP will learn from the hit taken by our Caribbean neighbours and will take major strides in procuring many forms of renewable energy here in Bermuda for the future of all Bermudians and for the security of our energy future.
